This Privacy Policy explains what information Tesil ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Tesil you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account information — your email address and authentication credentials, managed through our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Content you create — portfolio holdings, watchlist items, journal entries, price alerts, notes, and the messages you send to the AI assistant.
• Billing information — if you subscribe to Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles them.
• Usage data — basic, aggregated analytics about how the app is used, to help us improve it.

How we use your information

• To provide and maintain the service and your account.
• To generate AI responses and display the market data and features you request.
• To process subscription payments and manage your plan.
• To monitor, secure, debug, and improve the product.

Third-party services

We share limited data with service providers strictly to operate Tesil:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and serverless functions.
• OpenAI — the messages you send to the AI assistant are processed to generate responses.
• Market data providers (e.g. Finnhub, Yahoo Finance) — to fetch quotes, charts, and news.
• Stripe — to process payments.
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies & analytics

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences (like your theme). We also use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics (Vercel) to understand how the app is used and improve it — this does not build advertising profiles or sell your data. You can clear cookies anytime in your browser settings.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, holdings, watchlist, journal, chats, and feedback.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored with row-level security so that you can access only your own records. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You can delete your holdings, watchlist, journal entries, alerts, and notes from within the app at any time. To delete your account and associated data entirely, use Account Settings → Delete account, or contact us at support@tesil.ai.

Children

Tesil is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
